HOLA

Happy New Year - lovely to speak to you the other day too

re cyber cafes

COST - we{ve paid anything from 3 us dollars to 8 us dollars for one
hour. It{s usually segmented by 15 or 30 minute sections with no
reduction for volume. I would say that we{ve been nowhere anywhere near
as cheap as India so I would expect prices to be lower there.

Most places have full internet access and thatīs what most backpackers
prefer. It{s important to have an address that pc illiterate people can
send and receive from. A lot of less techy places will just have their
own email set up and allow you to send and receive off it.

Almost everywhere we{ve been we{ve expected to find somewhere we can
access the internet. In East Africa it was only in big towns (Uganda
only Kampala). Here (patagonia) there{s about 4 different places you
can go.

Fast machines make you more popular - word gets around. Advertising
would be best in the hostels and cheap hotels on notice boards. The
other suggestion would be to contact Lonely Planet, Rough Guide etc with
the address phone and email addresss

that{s all the advice I can give for now

Thinking of you as always. Love to mum

By the way it would really help to know what your intentions are for
Venezuela. As soon as we have flight details from Fe we{ll let you know
when we can be there, but it would be good to know your ideas.

Gotta go
be cool
